Set up your account and access the platform
Visit the login page and select "Create Account." Enter your institution email, verify your identity, and set your password. Once created, you can access MYLMSHUB from any device with an internet connection.
You need: (1) An email address from a subscribed institution, (2) A web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge), and (3) Internet connectivity. No software installation required.
Yes. MYLMSHUB is a cloud-based platform accessible from anywhere. Simply log in with your institutional credentials from any location with internet access.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your email address, and we'll send you a secure reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.
Contact your library administrator or IT department. Your institution must be subscribed to MYLMSHUB to create accounts. Your admin can initiate the subscription process.
Find and manage books, journals, and resources
Use the search bar on the main dashboard. Search by title, author, ISBN, or keywords. Apply filters for resource type (books, journals, databases), language, publication date, and availability status for refined results.
You can filter by: Resource Type (print/digital), Subject, Publication Year, Availability (Available/On Loan/Reserved), Language, and Author. Combine multiple filters for targeted searches.
Yes. MYLMSHUB integrates your institution's entire collection—print books, e-books, journals, databases, and multimedia materials. Search across all simultaneously or filter by format.
Click the heart icon on any resource page to add it to your "Favorites" list. Access your saved items anytime from your sidebar under "E-Resources."
Available (item ready to borrow), On Loan (currently borrowed), Reserved (someone is waiting), and Archived (older materials). Use the notification feature to be alerted when an on-loan item becomes available.
Manage your checkouts, renewals, and due dates
Find the item in the catalog, click "Request to Borrow" or "Borrow Now" (if available), and confirm. For physical items, proceed to pickup at your library. Digital items are instantly accessible in your account.
Standard borrowing periods vary by material type and institution policy. Books are typically 21 days, reference materials 7 days, and multimedia items 14 days. Check your item details for specific due dates.
Yes. Go to "My Checkouts" and click "Renew" next to the item. Renewals are allowed if there are no pending requests. Digital items renew automatically; physical items renew for another full lending period.
Physical books: Return to the library circulation desk or use self-checkout stations. Digital resources automatically expire after the lending period. Manage returns and due dates in "My Checkouts."
Late fees apply per your institution's policy. You'll receive email reminders 7 days and 1 day before due dates. Pay fines through your account dashboard under "Fines & Fees."
If an item is currently on loan, click "Reserve" or "Place Hold." You'll be notified when it becomes available for pickup. Holds are automatically filled in request order.
Access subscribed journals, databases, and scholarly materials
These are academic databases, e-journals, and scholarly collections your institution subscribes to. Examples include JSTOR, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, and specialized subject databases. Access is free for authorized users.
From the main dashboard, navigate to "Databases & Resources." Find your resource, click "Access," and you'll be authenticated automatically using your institutional login.
Access depends on your institution's subscriptions and your user role. Faculty typically have broader access than students. Check your resource details or contact your librarian if access is restricted.
Yes, if your institution provides remote access. Log in to MYLMSHUB, and the system automatically authenticates you for authorized resources regardless of location.
Most database results include automated citation tools. Click "Cite" on any article, select your format (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.), and copy the citation directly.
Manage assignments, submissions, and academic collaboration
Log in and navigate to "My Courses." Select your course to see active assignments, deadlines, and submission status. Instructors post assignments here directly.
Open the assignment details and click "Submit." Upload your file (Word, PDF, image, etc.), add any notes, and confirm. You'll receive a submission confirmation with timestamp.
Yes. Once graded, access feedback in "My Grades." Instructors can leave detailed comments and rubric scores. You'll receive notifications when grades are posted.
Instructors can create courses, post assignments, collect submissions, provide feedback, and grade work directly in the system. They access institutional resources for classroom materials and syllabus development.
Yes. For group projects, instructors can enable collaborative assignments. Use group workspace features to share files, notes, and coordinate with team members in real-time.
Manage your research, citations, and academic writing
Use the "My Research" section to create collections. Add resources, take notes, and tag by topic. Export your collection as a formatted bibliography in APA, MLA, or Chicago style.
MYLMSHUB supports major academic formats: APA 7th edition, MLA 9th edition, Chicago Manual of Style (16th edition), and Harvard. Generate citations instantly for any resource.
Yes. Create custom research collections for each project. Tag articles, books, and notes, organize by subject, and generate bibliographies on demand.
Select your collected resources and click "Export Bibliography." Choose your format and export as plain text, Word document, or PDF—ready to paste into your paper.
Our browser extension integrates with Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Install the extension to insert citations and manage your bibliography directly from your document.
Manage your profile, privacy settings, and security
Click your profile icon and select "Settings." Update your name, contact email, notification preferences, and privacy settings. Changes save automatically.
MYLMSHUB uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. Your personal information is never shared with third parties without consent. Review our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Yes. In Settings, adjust visibility for your borrowing history, research collections, and profile. Your borrowed items and reading history remain private unless you choose to share.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a security layer by requiring a code from your phone in addition to your password. We strongly recommend enabling it in your security settings.
Contact your institution's library administrator. They can initiate account removal. Note: This will delete your personal data, borrowed items history, and research collections.
Resolve technical issues and get assistance
First, verify your institution is subscribed. Click "Forgot Password" and reset. If issues persist, clear your browser cache and cookies. Try a different browser. Contact your library if unresolved.
Check your internet connection speed. Try refreshing the page. If slow globally, we may be performing maintenance. Check our Status Page for updates. Try another browser if isolated to one.
Verify your search term spelling. Try broader keywords. Check if filters are too restrictive. Use quotes for exact phrases. If an item should be available, contact your library.
Some databases limit downloads per session. Try again later. Check browser security settings permit downloads. Disable ad blockers temporarily. Contact support with the resource title.
